The 4th Industrial Revolution is here

  • The 4th Industrial Revolution is here

Our history is fascinating journey of human wins. The cave man discovered fire and boom; we are now on Mars. Let’s take a quick temperature of where we came from and where are we today.

The First: the time span of 18th to 19th century roughly marks the First industrial revolution. This was the era of mechanization. Black-Gold aka coal was the king. Steam power propelled everyday life into hyper drive for that period.  The economy that was supported by agriculture was now predominantly an industrial economy. Steam power was the MVP here and is still considered the proponent of life as we know it. To accommodate the changes, infrastructure boomed and roadways railways came to life.

The Second: Almost a century after the first wave, the second one arrived in the late 19th Century. The MVPs here were Electricity, gas and Oil. To this day, the second revolution is considered the most important revolution. Some may even argue that third and fourth industrial revolutions are but an extension of the second and that stands true. With internal combustion engine reaching its full potential, the steel industry booming and communication methods like telephone and telegraphs changed the human world.

The Third: With the turn of century came the turn of industry and with 20th century we step into the vortex of nuclear energy, computers, robots, telecommunication and so much more. This is the second industrial revolution on steroids. The automobiles became airborne, the offices became high-tech and robots moved from cartoons and fiction reel life to the real one. The MVP then were Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Robots. This was the era of automation.

The Fourth: Some people do not acknowledge that this is a revolution, maybe because when you are in middle of a storm you are at the calmest place possible. Wake up people and sense the changes around us. Today you can swallow a pill with a teeny-tiny robot that courses through your body taking pictures of the inside and that helps your doctor see what you need. We are in a digital world were internet of things is not a theory. Who is the MVP?  Well that is for the future generation to infer. As the century turned, the change arrived as clockwork, we are part of the revolution and we need to tap into it.

At WinWin, we are here to win the revolution. Explore and ride the storm with us and you tweet your way through life, making money all the way long.
